Why does God allow suffering?

To many people this question can be a barrier to faith in God. But God has not left us without answers - the subject of suffering is dealt with throughout the pages of the Bible. Most important of all, a time is coming when there will be no more suffering for anyone.

This talk was given by Drew Smith at the Dundee Christadelphian ecclesia on 30 November 2008. Isaiah 35 was read as an introduction. You can download the talk at www.searchforhope.org/podcasts/Why_does_God_allow_suffering.mp3

Can you overcome the devil?

Before answering this question the speaker first examines commonly held beliefs about the devil, testing them against what the Bible says. The answer to the question is yes, but not by ourselves.

This talk was given by Neil MacDonald at the Dundee Christadelphian ecclesia on 23 November 2008. You can download the talk at www.searchforhope.org/podcasts/Can_you_overcome_the_devil.mp3
