This weeks podcast looks at the spending trends of our world and questions whether 'retail therapy' is itself becoming a religion of sorts... and more importantly, how does the Bible view this lifestyle and what does it offer us in materialism's place?

We all have the tendancy to be influenced by the marketing and hype of 'Christmas', for example, so hopefully there will be plenty of food for thought for all this week.

Evolution is generally accepted as being conclusive so why the need to look at this out-dated book of stories?

Well, we hope to show this week that what science has discovered isn't mutually exclusive to what the Bible tells us - if fact, many recent finds corroborate what the Bible has been saying for centuries!

It's a long podcast this week, running at just over 50 mins but there is a handy break halfway through for an Old Testament reading so it can easily be listened to in two chunks.
